A studded gravel and winter commuting tire for 700c wheels, the 45NRTH Gravdal in 700 x 38 with the 33 TPI casing is built for riders who need traction on ice and packed snow without giving up rideability on bare pavement between storms. 252 carbide steel studs are positioned across the casing in groupings designed for cornering bite as well as straight-line braking and acceleration, and siped tread lugs add grip on slush and wet leaves where studs alone do not help.
The 33 TPI casing rides on a wire bead with a 35 to 75 psi pressure range, so you can drop pressure for traction on snow-covered singletrack or run it higher for quieter, faster rolling on clear roads. A 5mm reflective strip on the sidewall adds visibility in the low light typical of winter commuting hours. Compatible with rim inner widths from 20 to 28mm.
